Cantonese Style- Pork ribs soup Adzuki beans soup

Today, we are going to cook a Cantonese Style- Pork ribs soup Adzuki beans soup, which can lower blood pressure, anti-aging, and relieve muscle and bone pain!

 

Ro Taste Ingredients:

  • Dried arrowroot 300g
  • Adzuki beans and flat white beans 30g
  • Dried mandarine peel 2 pieces
  • Dried jujube (dates) 3 pieces

 

Local market Ingredients:

  • Sweet corn 1-2 
  • Carrot 3
  • Pork ribs 4-5 pieces
  • Ginger slices 10

 

 

Prepare:

1. First, put the pork ribs into the water with 7 pieces of ginger slices, boil the water for about 10-15 minutes, then take it without ginger and wash it for later use

2. Wash the dried arrowroot, then soak it in clean water for half an hour

3. Wash the dried mandarine peel in a bowl, then soak in clean water for half an hour to 45 minutes. After softening, scrape off the pouch and wash it for later use

4. Soak adzuki beans and flat white beans in water for about half an hour, rinse for later use 5. Soak the dried jujube (dates) in water for 2-3 minutes, rinse for later use

6. Cut the corn into several pieces and peel the carrots and cut into large pieces

 

Let’s Cook:

1. Pour the dried arrowroot and its soaking water into the pot

2. Put all the other washed ingredients, dried mandarine peel, adzuki beans, flat white beans, dried jujube (dates) pork ribs, corn, carrots and ginger into the pot

3. Pour an appropriate amount of water into the pot

4. After boiling over high heat, reduce the heat to low heat and cook for about 1.5-2 hours

5. Add salt to taste and serve
