Chinese Style Mixed Spice is one of my favourite dish. You can use this brine to cook different kinds of meat like chicken wings, pork belly, Tofu, eggs etc.... It is simple and delicious!
This mixed spice pack is a big pack (200g) that you can use several times, each time only needs 20-30g of the mixed spice. Please see the following recipe:
Brine Seasoning:Material: 700ml of water; 8 soups of light soy sauce; 3 soups of dark soy sauce; 20-30g of mixed spice in a fish soup bag; 20g of rock sugar Method: |
Chinese Style Mixed Spice Pork Belly
Ingredients: 8 chicken wings; 1 pork belly; 4 eggs
Methods:
- Boil chicken wings and pork belly in water for 5-10 minutes, wash and drain the water away;
- Boil eggs until done and peel off their shells;
- Boil the brine seasoning, add the meat and eggs, cook on high heat for 5-6 minutes, turn to low heat and simmer for 10 minutes, then turn off the heat and wait for 15 minutes.
