Oden
is traditional Japanese one-pot dish made with an assortment of fishcakes, tofu, eggs, meat and vegetables simmered in a light soy sauce flavoured dashi broth, which is the perfect comfort food. It is easy to make and you can add any food you like into the pot. Tonight I make my oden with corn, assorted fish ball, konjac knot and dried Tofu.
Just put all ingredients in the soup base (put those need longer time to cook first) and cook through, then serve. No additional flavouring needed. Simple, healthy, delicious.
